Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.
-- Ernest Hemmingway

    Alcohol is tricky. It always does the opposite of what it appears to do.

    -You drink to warm up, but it actually lowers your temperature.
    -You drink to quench thirst, but it's actually a diuretic. It only dries you out.
    -You drink to forget, but it only makes you remember.
    -You drink to escape, but it just keeps you in place.

    King James Version (well - one of them)
    Proverbs 31
    6 Give strong drink to the one who is perishing,
    and wine to those in bitter distress; [1]
    7 let them drink and forget their poverty
    and remember their misery no more.
    ~~~~~~~~~~
    The Catholics encourage drinking even more in Proverbs ! (of course !!!)
    31:6. Give strong drink to them that are sad; and wine to them that are grieved in mind:
    Date siceram maerentibus et vinum his qui amaro sunt animo
    31:7. Let them drink, and forget their want, and remember their sorrow no more.
    Bibant ut obliviscantur egestatis suae et doloris non recordentur amplius
    SEE - IT IS THE "GOOD BOOK!"
