Forgiveness

I believe it was Mark Twain who said, "Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it." Have you ever been truly forgiven? How do you know. What does forgiveness mean to you? I'm working on a piece about forgiveness and would greatly appreciate your thoughts and experiences on the subject. Thanks a lot.

    I think you have forgiven when you dont feel any anger any more. Just pure warm in your heart.

    I think we have to forgive in order to keep on going. For sure. If we cant forgive it means there is some EGO left in and Ego is bad.
    But as soon as yu give up your ego/selfishness you FORGIVE.
